About us. Established now for over 10 years we have been providing a wide variety of IT support & computer repair services for home users and small business clients throughout the Strathclyde (greater Glasgow) area.
We started out, in 1998, as part of the Microsolutions company in Glasgow. Microsolutions provided a large repair facility, training courses as well as a thriving computer shop in Cathcart Road.
The shop itself was largely killed off, in 2001, when the local council designated swathes of the area as no parking zones. With a large, and very loyal, customer base we decided to provide a mobile service with an out of town workshop for intensive repairs.
In 2004 the company was re-named to Strathclyde Computers and widened its area to include Renfrewshire and North Ayrshire.
In 2006 a separate company, Lapis, was formed to deal with web-design and hosting.

Keep a written list of all your passwords and logins somewhere safe. If your computer needs to be wiped and re-installed it's normally possible to recover your files but not necessarily all those passwords.
This can save you time, money and avoid stress!
